Abstract
Među bakterijama koje zaražavaju jabuku i krušku najdestruktivnija je Erwinia amylovora. Cilj ovog rada bio je provjeriti patogenost izoliranih bakterijskih izolata iz mumificiraog ploda kruške s lokacije Orlovac na sjemenjaku jabuke ʹIdaredʹ. Provjera patogenosti, odnosno bio-test na jabuci proveden je umjetnom infekcijom sjemenjaka jabuke. Ranije izolirana mješovita bakterijska kultura pročišćena je do bakterijskih linija. Dobivene čiste linije nisu se razlikovale međusobno, niti prema morfološkim karakteristikama, niti prema boji. Infekcija sjemenjaka jabuke provedena je inokulacijom svježe bakterijske suspenzije preko ranjene kore izbojka i preko lista. Već nakon nekoliko dana najbolji pokazatelj uspješne zaraze je bila pojava eksudata na mjestu inokulacije, a nakon dva tjedna uočeni su i simptomi paleži izbojka. Eksudat i palež potvrdili su patogenost testiranog izolata bakterija za koje se opravdano može pretpostaviti da se radi o vrsti Erwinia amylovora.

Among others attacking apples and pears, Erwinia amylovora is the most destructive bacteria. The aim of this research was to test pathogenicity of isolated bacterial isolates obtained from mummified pear from location Orlovac on seedling apple. Pathogenicity testing, i.e. bioassay on apple, was performed as an artificial infection on seedling apple ʹIdaredʹ. Previously isolated bacterial culture was purified to obtain pure bacterial isolate. Isolated pure lines were not differentiated in morphological characteristics or color. Seedling apple infection was performed with inoculation of freshly prepared bacterial suspension over the branches peel shoot and the leaves. The best indicator of successful infection was exudate on the spots of inoculation which appeared only several days after, while symptoms of Fire Blight on branches appeared one week after inoculation. Exudate and Fire Blight symptoms confirmed pathogenicity of tested bacterial isolate for which it could be justifiable assumed that is species Erwinia amylovora.
