Abstract	Rajčica (Lycopersicun esculentum Mill.) je vrlo rasprostranjena povrtna kultura, te su na tržištu dostupni kultivari rajčice za potrošnju u svježem stanju i preradu, za uzgoj u zaštićenim prostorima i na otvorenom. S obzirom da u Hrvatskoj ne postoji oplemenjivački program rajčice i na tržištu ne postoje domaći komercijalni kultivari, cilj ovog rada bio je kroz poljski pokus ispitati nekoliko stranih komercijalnih kultivara rajčice dostupnih na našem tržištu s ciljem izdvajanja kultivara rajčice najboljih testiranih svojstava za uzgoj u obiteljskom vrtu na područu naselja Mikulići u Zagrebu. U pokusu je bilo zastupljeno šest kultivara rajčice ('Saint Pierre', 'Marglobe', 'Marmande', 'Campebell', 'Volovsko srce' i 'Rio Grande'), a pokus je bio postavljen po slučajnom bloknom rasporedu u dva ponavljanja. Površina obračunske parcelice bila je 1,98 m2. Tijekom provođenja pokusa prikupljena su morfološka svojstva prema UPOV-deskriptoru za rajčicu, te je određen prinos plodova kultivara rajčice. U statističkoj obradi podataka korištena je jednosmjerna analiza varijance. Između kultivara rajčice nisu utvrđene značajne razlike u prinosu ploda, dok su u morfološkim svojstvima utvrđene značajne razlike.
Abstract (english)	Tomato (Lycopersicun esculentum Mill.) is a very widespread vegetable culture, and tomato cultivars are available on the market for fresh and processed consumption, for growing in greenhouses and open areas. There is no breeding program on tomatoes in Croatia and there are no domestic commercial cultivars in the market, the aim of this master's thesis was to evaluate several foreign commercial tomato cultivars available on our market to find the best tomato cultivar for growing in the family garden Six tomato cultivars ('Staint Pierre', 'Marglobe', 'Marmande', 'Campebell', 'Volovsko srce' and 'Rio Grande') were tested and the experiment was randomly arranged in two replicates . The computing plot per member of the experiment was 1.98 m2. During the experiment morphological characteristics of tomato cultivars were collected according to the UPOV descriptor for tomatoes and yield was determined. Statistical data processing used one-way variance analysis. No significant differences in fruit yield were found between tomato cultivars, while the morphological characteristics of the tomato cultivars were determined in the morphological characteristics, except for leaf length, lattice width and stability.
