Abstract
Ciljevi ovoga istraživanja su bili kod F7 potomstava dvaju biparentalnih križanja pšenice Golubica × Emesse (G×E) i Verbunkos × Soissons (VxS) procijeniti fenotipske korelacije između proučavanih svojstava i usporediti ostvareni odgovor na selekciju kod niske i visoke razine gnojidbe dušikom (N). U evaluacijskom pokusu potomstva su uzgajana kod optimalne (180 kgN/ha, N180) i reducirane N gnojidbe (80 kgN/ha, N80). U F7 generaciji utvrđena je jaka pozitivna korelacija SP sa sadržajem vlažnog glutena (WGC) i Zeleny sedimentacijskom vrijednosti (ZSV) u rasponu od 0,71** do 0,74** odnosno 0,73** do 0,76**. Ostvareni odgovor na selekciju u evaluacijskom pokusu kod križanja V×S bio je veći kod selekcije provedene kod N180 nego kod N80 ( 4% za SP i 10% za WGC). Kod križanja G×E nisu utvrđene signifikantne razlike između dvije selekcijske razine niti za jedno svojstvo. Rezultati upućuju da je selekcija na pekarsku kakvoću kod N180 jednako učinkovita ili učinkovitija od selekcije kod N80.

The aims of this study for segregating generations of two biparental wheat crosses in F7 generation are: to evaluate the phenotypic correlation between studied traits and compare the observed response to selection under high and low levels of nitrogen fertilization. In evaluation trial, progeny was grown with reduced fertilization at 80 kgN/ha and with optimal fertilization at 180 kgN/ha. Strong positive correlation observed among grain protein content, wet gluten content and Zeleny sedimentation value ranged from 0.71 to 0.76. Averaged over evaluation N levels F7 progenies of the cross V×S produced through HN-selection had 4% higher GPC and 10% higher WGC than F7 progenies produced through LN-selection with a higher response at LN evaluation level. For the cross G×E differences between two selection levels were not significant for all traits. The results indicate that selection conducted at high N level is more efficient than selection conducted at low N level in improving bread making quality.
