Abstract
Zbog niskog vodostaja litoralni dio rijeke Drave postao je dostupan za uzorkovanje faune bentosa. Uzorci su uzeti na četiri različita lokaliteta, Streljana, Kompa, Most i Zeleno polje (16. 24. rkm) u rujnu 2011. godine (14. i 15.09).Cilj rada bio je utvrditi sastav zajednice slatkovodnih beskralježnjaka u donjem toku rijeke Drave s naglaskom na invazivne beskralježnjake. Prisutnost invazivnih beskralježnjaka je očekivana jer su u velikom broju pronađeni u većini europskih rijeka. Osobito su uspješne vrste iz Ponto kaspijske regije. Njihovo rasprostiranje je olakšano povezivanjem velikih riječnih tokova što je dodatno pospješeno otvaranjem kanala Rajna- Majna- Dunav. Invazivne vrste predstavljaju veliku prijetnju za autohtone organizme te uzrokuju homogenizaciju brojnih ekosustava. Analizom uzoraka prikupljenih na sva četiri lokaliteta utvrđeno je 17 svojti slatkovodnih beskralježnjaka, od čega je šest invazivnog karaktera. Invazivni organizmi su školjkaši Sinanodonta woodiana, Dreissena polymorpha i Corbicula fluminea, zatim rakušac Dikerogammarus villosus, rak Chelicorophium curvispinum i izopodni rak Jaera istri. Također, pronađene su i uginule jedinke dvije vrste mnogočetinaša Manayunkia speciosa i Hypania invalida. U sastavu zajednice invazivnih beskralježnjaka dominirali su C. fluminea, C. curvispinum i D. villosus.Kako bismo dobili detaljnije informacije o sastavu zajednice invazivnih beskralježnjaka, njihovoj brojnosti i utjecaju na autohtone organizme potrebno je provesti intenzivnija istraživanja u rijeci Dravi.

Due to low water - level of the Drava River, littoral area became available for sampling of the benthic fauna. Sampling was conducted on four different localities: Streljana, Kompa, Most and Zeleno polje (16 to 24 rkm), on the 14th and 15th September 2011.The main goal was to determine the composition of freshwater benthic community, with the emphasis on the presence of invasive invertebrates, in the lower reach of the Drava river. The finding of the invasive invertebrates was expected since they have been found in many rivers throughout Europe. Ponto Caspian species are known to be particularly successful. The opening of the Rhine Main Danube canal additionally enabled their spreading. Invasive species can present a threat to the native organisms, often causing a homogenization of the ecosystems.Analysis of the samples collected at all four sampling sites indicated 17 freshwater invertebrate taxa, of which six were invasive species. Invasive invertebrates were: bivalvia representatives Sinanodonta woodiana, Dreissena polymorpha and Corbicula fluminea, and crustaneans Dikerogammarus villosus, Chelicorophium curvispinum and Jaera istri. Dead individuals of Polychaeta species Manayunkia speciosa and Hypania invalidav were also found. C. fluminea, C. curvispinum and D. villosus dominated within the community of invasive invertebrates.To gain more information on the composition, abundance and the influence of invasive invertebrates on the autochthonous fauna in the Drava River, further research needs to be conducted.
