Abstract
Istraživanje utjecaja poplava na vertikalnu distribuciju fitoplanktona Sakadaškog jezera (poplavno područje Dunava, Park prirode Kopački rit) provedeno je od svibnja do rujna 2010. godine. Kvantitativna analiza fitoplanktona provedena je u vertikalnom sloju vode od površine do dna jezera. Dinamika plavljenja značajno je utjecala na promjene fizikalno-kemijskih svojstava vode što se odrazilo i na distribuciju fitoplanktona. Dotok poplavnih voda i miješanje vodenog stupca jezera bili su nepovoljni za razvoj fitoplanktona te je u vrijeme plavljenja utvrđena niska ukupna brojnost fitoplanktona i gotovo ujednačena vertikalna distribucija. Dominantne vrste u fitoplanktonskoj zajednici bile su klorokokalne alge i dijatomeje. Kratkotrajnim prestankom plavljenja i uspostavom temperaturne stratifikacije u srpnju došlo je do porasta količine hranjivih tvari i porasta ukupne brojnosti fitoplanktona. Cijanobakterije su se razvile u dubljim slojevima vode ali s malom ukupnom brojnošću te nije došlo do stvaranja vodnog cvijeta. Iz svih dobivenih rezultata može se zaključiti da vertikalna distribucija fitoplanktona u Sakadaškom jezeru ovisi o intenzitetu plavljenja jezera.

Researching the impact of floods on the vertical distribution of phytoplankton in Lake Sakadaš (floodplain area of the Danube, Kopački rit Nature Park) has been conducted from May to September 2010. Quantitative analysis of phytoplankton was conducted in a vertical layer of water from the surface to the bottom of the lake. The dynamics of flooding had a significant impact on changes in physico-chemical properties of water, which is reflected in the distribution of phytoplankton. Inflow of flood water and mixing of a water column from a lake were unfavorable for the development of phytoplankton, so during the flooding, low overall abundance of phytoplankton and the nearly equable vertical distribution was determinated. The dominant species in the phytoplankton community were chlorococcalean algae and diatoms. When transient termination of flooding and establishment of temperature stratification has occur in July, there was an increase in the quantity of nutrients and in the total numbers of phytoplankton. Cyanobacteria has developed in deeper layers of the water, but with a low overall numbers so the water bloom did not appear. From all the results, it can be concluded that the vertical distribution of phytoplankton in Lake Sakadaš depends on the intensity of the flooding lake.
