Abstract
Svrha rada je pojasniti motivaciju koja se navodi kao jedan od najkompleksnijih fenomena ljudske prirode. Važan je pokretač svakog pojedinca. Pri isticanju motivacijskih mehanizama postoje mnogobrojne teorije koje služe kao temeljna polazišta za shvaćanje mnogobrojnih unutarnjih i vanjskih čimbenika koji se vežu za motiviranje svih zaposlenika. Glavni cilj je poticanje zaposlenika na rad, dok je među glavnim zadacima menadžera prepoznavanje potreba ljudi i izgradnja pravičnog sustava nagrađivanja koristeći kombinaciju materijalnih i nematerijalnih kompenzacija. Ljudi u ulozi zaposlenika uvijek su bili ključan segment organizacije te njihova strateška važnost sve više raste u današnjem svijetu koji se temelji na znanju rada. Rad se bavi praćenjem radne uspješnosti sa stajališta nagrađivanja radnika kao specifične funkcije menadžmenta. Uspješno ostvarivanje ciljeva poduzeća nemoguće je bez podrške i predanosti svih zaposlenika, a sami ljudi čine najvažniji resurs svakog poduzeća. Zaposlenici predstavljaju veliki potencijal i kapital poduzeća, no taj je kapital potrebno upotrijebiti na pravi način.

The purpose of this paper is to describe motivation which is held as one of the most complex phenomenon of human nature and it’s important driver of every individual. There are many theories which are used as starting point in understanding many inner and outer factors used for motivating all employees, while pointing out motivating mechanisms. The main goal is to encourage employees to work, while one of the most important manager task is to recognize people’s needs and building equitable reward system using combination of material and non-material compensation. People in role of employee were always the key segment of organisation, their strategic importance grows more and more in today’s world based on knowledge work. This paper is all about keeping track of job performance and rewarding the employee as specific management function. To achieve the company goals, backup and commitment of all employees is needed, while people alone are the biggest asset of every company. Employees represent big potential and company capital, but it’s very important to use that capital in the right way.
