Abstract	Širenjem procesa globalizacije dolazi do sve većeg izučavanja pojma konkurentnosti i konkurentskih prednosti poslovanja. Poduzetnici ulažu resurse u poslovanje s nadom ostvarivanja konkurentnosti vlastitog poslovanja. Konkurentnost kao ekonomski pojam postaje u posljednjim desetljećima jedan od najčešće analiziranih pojmova. Poduzetnici su u cilju povećanja konkurentnosti neprestano u potrazi za novom modernom tehnologijom, inovacijama i dodatnim obrazovanjem. U suvremenoj ekonomiji pojam konkurentnosti potrebno je promatrati iz globalnog aspekta čak i kada se govori o konkurentnosti poduzetnika jedne države. Unutar rada analizirat će se konkurentnost hrvatskih poduzetnika u odnosu na konkurentnost poduzetnika odabranih zemalja. Za kvalitetu analize korišteni su podaci Svjetske ekonomskog foruma i Europske komisije.
