Abstract
Upravljanje konfiguracijama računala dugotrajan je posao ukoliko se izvodi isključivo ljudskom intervencijom. Iz tog razloga nastali su alati koji omogućuju automatizirano upravljanje konfiguracijom skupa računala. Administrator sustava odabire alat primjeren infrastrukturi sustava. Jedan od alata za upravljanje konfiguracijom je Puppet, trenutačne verzije 4. Instalacijom programske podrške Puppet u sustav, administrator je u mogućnosti konfigurirati različite postavke računala. U mogućnosti je to činiti preko računala na kojemu je prethodno instaliran Puppet poslužitelj, putem manifesta ili modula. Tako je omogućeno vršenje određenih poslova samo jednom, umjesto obavljanja istih poslova posebno za svako računalo.
Abstract (english)
Computer configuration management is a complex task if done only by human intervention. Due to this, many computer set configuration management tools have been created. The system administrator chooses a tool suited for the system infrastructure. One of these tools is Puppet, currently version 4. By installing the Puppet software into the system, the administrator is able to configure various computer settings. He is able do to this using a computer which has previously installed Puppet server, via manifests od modules. This is how it is possible to execute certains tasks on just one computer instead of executing the same ones specially for every computer.
