Sports program for preschool children is integrated into the basic school program. All activities related to its implementation are in the function of the overall development of the child. This program is not aiming to create top athletes, but to promote optimal development of motor potential of children in the age when it is extremely important. All motor activities designed for developing motor abilities and skills, were selected according to the abilities of children of preschool age. Exceptional attention is paid to the safety of children. The equipment used in this program is suitable for children of preschool age. The introduction of increased physical activity of children, carried out by a professor of kinesiology and educators, make children achieve their high quality growth and development, make them more opened to parents and the community as well as the realization of their right to a quality-of-home upbringing. The program is designed for children from the age of four years to school age, and its purpose is not to create or profile top athletes, but to promote optimal and overall development of the child, while potentially gifted children can be identified. Program managers should stick to the framework of global and operational programs, but they are also given the opportunity to be innovative in their work and to perceive and appreciate the needs and rights of children. They must have the ability to adapt to the work because the contents of this program, organized on a daily basis, is closely related with daily educational plan and based on that they can be created and modified.
