Abstract	En el presente trabajo se estudian los neologismos de nueva creación en la lengua española. En el primer apartado se revisa el concepto de neologismo, se abordan cuestiones como: ¿qué es un neologismo?, se proponen diferentes definiciones de neologismo y se presentan los motivos de su aparición en la lengua. En el siguiente apartado se explica cuándo una palabra deja de ser un neologismo, así como la importancia del uso de estas palabras. La siguiente parte describe el concepto de neología como una disciplina lingüística y su tipología. Posteriormente, se exponen tres tipos fundamentales del proceso de formación de palabras nuevas. En el último apartado de la parte teórica se dividen los neologismos en varios tipos, según las diferentes clasificaciones existentes. Al final de este trabajo se examinan los neologismos con varias marcas temáticas (deporte, TIC-Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación y economía), según si son o no son aceptados por el Diccionario de la Real Academia Española.
Abstract (croatian)	U ovom su radu proučavane novotvorenice, odnosno novotvorene riječi u španjolskom jeziku. Prvi dio preispituje pojam novotvorenice, postavljaju se pitanja poput što je novotvorenica, iznose se različite definicije te razlozi njihove pojave u jeziku. U sljedećem poglavlju objašnjava se kada određena riječ prestaje biti novotvorenica, kao i važnost upotrebe tih riječi u jeziku. Zatim se opisuje pojam neologije kao jezične discipline i njena tipologija, a potom su izložene tri temeljne vrste procesa tvorbe novih riječi. U posljednjem dijelu teorije, neologizmi se dijele u nekoliko tipova prema različitim postojećim klasifikacijama. Na posljetku, pregledavaju se novotvorenice podijeljene u tri tematska okvira (sport, informacijske i komunikacijske tehnologije te ekonomija) prema tome jesu li ili nisu prihvaćene u rječnik španjolskog jezika (DRAE).
