Abstract	Prijevozne tarife su od velikog značaja za prijevoz ljudi i tereta jer omogućavaju prijevoznicima da naplate pružanje svojih usluga korisnicima. Od svojih početaka pa sve do danas, tarife su se proširile na svim prometnim granama. Prilikom određivanja prijevoznih tarifa, u ovom slučaju pomorskih tarifa, treba uzeti u obzir mnogobrojne čimbenike, pravila, uvjete i načela pojedinih vrsta plovidbe. Primjenom tarifa u prometnom sustavu, potrebno je pokriti nastale troškove prijevoza te ostale dodatne troškove, dok s druge strane prijevoznik naplatom svojih usluga mora ostvariti i profit kako bi opstao na tržištu.
Abstract (english)	Transport tariffs are of great importance for the transport of people and freight because they allow carriers to charge the provision of their services to users. From its beginnings to the present day, tariffs have expanded on all types of traffic. During determining the transport tariffs, in this case the maritime tariffs, it should be taken into account the numerous factors, rules, conditions and principles of certain types of navigation. By applying the tariffs in the transport system, it is necessary to cover the costs of transportation and other additional costs, while on the other hand the carrier must also make a profit by charging its service in order to survive on the market.
