Abstract	Rad obuhvaća poimanje Zagrebačke škole crtanog filma kao umjetničke grupacije u povijesti animiranog filma. Riječ je o skupini individualnih autora animatora čije je djelovanje obilježilo početak animacijskog života u Hrvatskoj. Za potrebe rada analizirali smo, prema dostupnom pisanom materijalu, djelovanje svih relevantnih autora Zagrebačke škole kao i njihova najznačajnija djela. U nastavku rada, u razgovoru s Joškom Marušićem, saznat ćemo razloge propasti te škole. Važno je naglasiti kako Zagrebačka škola nikada nije bila škola u pravom značenju te riječi, te kako se tek 1999. otvorio studij animacije u Zagrebu. Na kraju, nizom intervjua s mladim autorima animatorima, upoznat ćemo današnju situaciju na hrvatskoj animacijskoj sceni.
