Abstract	Istražen je utjecaj dodatka meda kestena na koroziju kositra u 3 % - tnoj otopini natrijeva klorida, koristeći tri različite metode mjerenja: metodu prirasta mase, metodu katodne polarizacije i polarizacijskog otpora. Vrijednosti brzina korozije uzoraka kositra određene su metodom prirasta mase u vodenim otopinama i 3 % - tnim otopinama natrijeva klorida s različitim koncentracijama meda kestena (200, 400, 600, 800 i 1000 ppm). Korozijski parametri kositar elektroda određeni su metodama katodne polarizacije i polarizacijskog otpora u 3 % - tnim otopinama natrijeva klorida i meda kestena koncentracija 200, 500 i 800 ppm. Stupanj zaštite od korozije u vodenim otopinama raste porastom koncentracije meda kestena do 1000 ppm, dok se u 3 % - tnim otopinama natrijeva klorida i meda kestena najveće vrijednosti stupnja zaštite od korozije postižu dodatkom 500 ili 800 ppm meda kestena, ovisno o primjenjenoj elektrokemijskoj metodi. Inhibicijsko djelovanje meda kestena na koroziju kositra je rezultat stvaranja zaštitnog filma na površini kositra. Adsorpciju meda kestena na površinu kositra najbolje opisuje Freundlichova adsorpcijska izoterma.
Abstract (english)	The subject of the research was the effect of added chestnut honey on the corrosion of tin in a 3 % sodium chloride solution by using three different measuring methods weight increase measurements, cathode polarization and polarization resiststance measurements. The values of corrosion rate of tin samples by weight increase measurements were calculated in water solutions and 3 % sodium chloride solutions at different concentrations of chestnut honey (200, 400, 600, 800 i 1000 ppm). Corrosion parameters of tin electrodes by cathode polarization and polarization resistance methods were measured in 3 % sodium chloride solution and chestnut honey at concentrations 200, 500 i 800 ppm. The degree of corrosion protection in water solutions increases with increasing concentrations of chestnut honey up to 1000 ppm, while in 3 % sodium chloride solutions and chestnut honey the highest corrosion protection degrees are at 500 or 800 ppm, depending on the electrochemical method used. The inhibitive effect of chestnut honey is the result of the formation of a protective film on the tin surface. The adsorption of chestnut honey on the tin surface best obeys the Freundlich adsorption isotherm.
