Abstract	Tema ovog rada su centrifugalni čistioci. Načelno, centrifugalni čistioc djeluje tako da se tekućina dovede u rotacijsko gibanje kako bi centrifugalna sila uvelike ubrzala odvajanje izmiješanih tekućina i čestica različitih gustoća. Danas se zbog smanjenja troškova eksploatacije broda za brodski pogon koriste teška brodska goriva koja sadrže razne nečistoće koje mogu prouzročiti razne kvarove, a tako i otežati rukovanje sa gorivima. Cilj ovog rada jest prikazati način funkcioniranja centrifugalnih čistioca i njegovu važnost u svakodnevnoj primjeni na brodu. Ovaj rad je podijeljen na šest poglavlja. Prvo poglavlje je uvodno poglavlje koje govori općenito o centrifugalnim čistiocima. Drugo i treće opisuju njegov princip rada, te razvoj povijesti sve do danas. Četvrto poglavlje opisuje podjelu centrifugalnih čistioca i njegove dijelove. Dok peto i šesto poglavlje opisuje dvije najpoznatije vrste centrifugalnih čistioca.
Abstract (english)	The subject of this paper is centrifugal cleaners. Basically, the centrifugal cleaner works to bring the fluid into rotational motion so that the centrifugal force greatly accelerates the separation of mixed liquids and particles of different density. Today due to a reduction in the cost of shipboard exploitation, heavy ship fuels are used, which contain various impurities that can cause various failures and make handling difficult with fuel. The purpose of this paper is to show how the centrifugal cleaners work and its importance in daily application on board. This paper is divided into six chapters. The first chapter is an introductory chapter that speaks in general about centrifugal cleaners. Second and third describe his principle of work, and the development of history to this day. The chapter Four describes the division of centrifugal cleaners and parts thereof. While the fifth and sixth chapters describe the two most famous types of centrifugal cleaners.
