Abstract
Financiranje nabavljanja brodova moguće je izvesti na više različitih načina. Koriste se razni modeli i izvori financijskih sredstava. Odluka o načinu financiranja ovisi isključivo o brodaru, brodarskom poduzeću i njegovim rezultatima poslovanja. Mogu se izdvojiti dva glavna načina financiranja nabave brodova, a to su financiranje raspoloživim kapitalom i financiranje zaduživanjem. Vlastita sredstva se akumuliraju zadržavanjem dijela dobiti, ali obično nisu dostatna, pa se investitori trebaju poslužiti i ostalim načinima pribavljanja financijskih sredstava. Ako se radi o brodarskom društvu to je moguće prodajom dionica i plasiranjem obaveznica. Također se znatna sredstva mogu pribaviti i stvaranjem partnerskih odnosa s nekih od fondova. Nabavljanje brodova sa vlastitim sredstvima ima veliku prednost, jer ta utrošena sredstva ne treba vraćati, ali bez obzira na tu prednost i eventualno dobru financijsku poziciju, brodari češće koriste tuđa sredstva za nabavljanje brodova.
Abstract (english)
Funding for the purchase of ships is possible in many different ways. Various models and sources of funding are used. The decision on the mode of financing depends solely on the shipowner, the shipping company and its business results. There are two main ways of financing the procurement of ships, which are funding available capital and financing by borrowing. Own funds accumulate by retaining part of the profits but are usually insufficient, so investors need other means of obtaining financial resources. If it is a shipping company, it is possible to sell shares and issue bonds. Also, substantial funds can be obtained through the creation of partnerships with some funds. Procuring ships with their own means has a great advantage, since these resources are not to be returned, but regardless of the advantage and possibly the good financial position, shipping agents use the other means of purchasing ships more often.
