Abstract	U ovom radu opisan je geostrateški položaj Srđa za vrijeme velikosrpske agresije, uzimajući u obzir povijesne i geografske pristupe i metode istraživanja. Zbog iznimnog geostrateškog položaja Srđ je imao važnu ulogu u fortifikacijskom sustavu Dubrovnika u svim povijesnim epohama, počevši od doba Napoleonovih europskih osvajanja kada su izgrađene brojne fortifikacijske utvrde, među kojima su i utvrde Delgourge, Strinčjera i Imperial na Srđu. Linija obrane Dubrovnika na potezu Brgat-Žarkovica, Bosanka-Srđ ponovila se u vrijeme Domovinskog rata 1991/92. kada su s tih položaja u vrijeme srpsko-crnogorske agresije vođene vojne operacije za zauzeće Grada, kada su mnoga područja znatno stradala a tvrđave na Srđu su ponovno poslužile kao iznimna strateška mjesta koja su i sama pretrpila brojna oštećenja.
Abstract (english)	In this work is described geostrategic position of Srđ is during Serbian aggression, taking into account historical and geographical approaches and research methods. Because of immense geostrategic position Srđ had important role in fortification system of Dubrovnik in all historical periods, beginning with time of Napolean European conquests when numerous fortification forts were built among which are forts Delgourge, Strinčjera and Imperial on Srđ. Defense line of Dubrovnik on the stretch Brgat-Žarkovica, Bosanka-Srđ was repeated in time of Croatian war of independence 1991/1992. when from this positions, during Serbo-Montenegrian aggression, were led military operations for capturing of Dubrovnik and when many areas were significally destroyed and forts on Srđ once again served as exceptional strategic positions that also endured heavy destructions.
