The main content of this thesis is based on different stages of child development, from infant age to early childhood. Diverse external and biological factors have significant influence on child development and some of them are described in this work. These factors are very important because they affect further development of a child. Emotional development of a child begins with its birth. A child adjusts to the environment and people surrounding it. Primarily, a child forms a strong and close connection with its mother, namely affection. After that stage, a child is ready to form relations with other people. First stage od development can be of cruical importance in this process as it defines child's attitude to itself and others. Children naturally seek for a warm and stable relations. In a confortable environment they can express themselves freely without the fear of not being accepted. During the period of emotional development, a child starts to understand itself and its abilities which eventually leads to self-respecting. Self-respect has an important role in development of a child as it enables a easier interaction with other people. Gradually, a child starts to emapthize with others. Empathy also contributes to forming a stable relations with other people. In adittion, childs temper can have a strong influence on its behaviour and way of thinking. Depending on its temper, a child will adopt certain phases of emotional development with more or less difficulties. Some external factors can have a strong impact on a temper of a child.
