Abstract	Tema ovog rada su metode i tehnike retuširanja na polikromiranim skulpturama. Objašnjena je osnovna terminologija i etika prilikom pristupa retuširanju umjetnina. TakoĎer su pojašnjene najčešće korištene tehnike i razlozi upotrebe iste. Praktični dio obuhvaća postupak konzervacije i restauracije izveden na baroknim skulpturama Josipa Strauba iz 18. stoljeća.
Abstract (english)	The topic of this paper is the methods and techniques of retouching on polychrome sculptures. Basic terminology and ethics when approaching art retouching are explained, also common techniques and reasons for using them. The practical part covers the process of conservation and restoration performed on the baroque sculptures made by Joseph Straub in 18th century.
