Abstract | Uvod: Studenti bivaju sve više izloženiji stresnim situacija tijekom studiranja što dovodi do narušavanja njihove kvalitete života. Dobiveni rezultati nisu pokazali razliku u vrijednostima razine temporalne kvalitete života studenata s obzirom na njihovu: godinu studija, studijski status, spol, radni odnos, mjesto stanovanja i visinu mjesečnih troškova. |
Abstract (english) | Introduction: Students are increasingly exposed to stressful situations during their studies, which leads to impairment of their quality life. The aim of this paper is to investigate the perceived quality of life of the students in Vukovar. Methods: The research was conducted from September 5th to September 12th 2023, through a questionnaire intended for students of the 1st and 2nd year of the specialist study of Preventive Physiotherapy in Vukovar, on a sample of 53 respondents. The questionnaire contains two parts, the first part consists of the socio-demographic characteristics of the respondents, while the second part of the questionnaire used the Temporal Satisfaction with Life scale (TSWLS). Results: Statistical date are presented though descriptive indicators for the observed questions, frequencies and percentages, arithmetic means and standard deviation are presented for each group of questions. Testing of the observed factors with respect to the observed indicators was performed using the „Mann-Whitney U“ test and the „Kruskal-Wallis“ test. The obtained results showed no difference in the values of the level of temporal quality of life of students, with regard to their year of study, study status, gender, employment relationship, place of residence or amount of the montly expenses. The results showed the highest value of arithmetric means for the statements, that I will be satisfied with my future self, and in the future I will have all the important things I want. We noted the lowest value of the arithmetic means of the answers for the statements, as stated that If I were to live my life again, I would not change anything and my past life was almost ideal for me. Discussion: The hypothesis that the students, at the 2nd year of the Study of Preventive Physiotherapy, have a higher level of perceived temporal quality of life than students at the 1st year of the same Study, was not confirmed. Conclusion: No differences where found in the values of students temporal quality of life, between the 1st and the 2nd year of the Study of Preventive Physiotherapy, students are more optimistic regarding their outlook on the future. |
