Abstract Vojno djelovanje i intervencije u kojima EU sudjeluje, mogu se svrstati u modus operandi Europske unije. Vojne operacije upravljanja krizama diljem svijeta provode se u svrhu stabilizacije, borbe protiv terorizma, piratstva, organiziranog kriminala, trgovanja ljudima, hibridnih prijetnji i drugih oblika ugroza.
Abstract (english) Military actions and interventions in which the EU participates can be classified as European Union modus operandi. Military crisis management operations around the world are being carried out for the purpose of stabilization, combating terrorism, piracy, organised crime, human trafficking, hybrid threats and other forms of challenges. Also, other forms of operations, such as civilian, contain humanitarian, stabilization and legal aspects, are being conducted in parallel. Such operations can be carried out after calming down certain conflicts so that post-conflict pre-planned strategic goals can be implemented for a specific case. It is very important to continuously strengthen security and defense capabilities and adapt to unique challenges. The European Union has the capacity to act alone, without the presence of other organizations in a particular area. Collaboration with other international actors is desirable and requires greater engagement, coordination at the political, military-strategic and operational level of action. That is why the EU is strengthening cooperation with other international partners such as the NATO alliance or the UN. Different mechanisms, different organizational structures, sluggish political arrangements are still the daily challenges that organizations face. However, the international community is making efforts to facilitate negotiations and co-operation between military forces. The purpose of aforementioned facts is strengthening of European and world security, the promotion of democratic principles of government, the rule of law and economic prosperity which every country and its society are entitled to.
