The purpose of this final thesis is to point out the importance of good managers and the qualities they need to have to make the job successful. The emphasis is placed on acquiring the knowledge, skills, and attributes that make a manager stand out and further shape the long-term job. It also mentions the importance of motivating ourselves and others. Also, how to recognize the values in others around ourselves and how to convey knowledge that will later be used properly. The purpose of the paper is to emphasize the importance of the team as a whole, why it is extremely important to achieve the learning organization and encourage others to train further. It also explains how a good manager should understand the importance of critical situations in which making the correct decisions is an important act. With these activities, they strive to meet the organization's goals: to maintain and increase productivity and profit, to meet the ever-changing and more specific customer needs, to introduce technological changes to the work process, etc. The competent manager needs to understand the diversity of people in their team and how to reach each individual but also to show authority when necessary. In addition, labor-intensive work on quality and healthy interpersonal relationships are also needed and employees should understand that they are accepted and well-rewarded. Therefore, the final thesis explains the methods a person can strive to become a better manager and establish a winning team, and as an example, four high-level managers have been included that have incorporated all of the most important features mentioned and achieved their success.
