Abstract	Postupci javne nabave obuhvaćaju nabavu robe, usluga i radova, a dužni su ih provoditi javni i sektorski naručitelji. Javna nabava važan je segment svakog suvremenog gospodarstva te poboljšanje cjelokupnog sustava javne nabave osigurava racionalno trošenje novca poreznih obveznika. Naručitelji su dužni postupke javne nabave provoditi uz poštivanje načela transparentnosti kako bi se smanjila korupcija u javnoj nabavi. Cilj i svrha ovog završnog rada je da ukaže na važnost načela transparentnosti u sustavu javne nabave te da se pobliže upoznamo s novim Zakonom o javnoj nabavi koji je na snazi od 01.01.2017. godine.
Abstract (english)	The procedures of public procurement are procurement of goods, services and labour, and must be conducted by public and sector customers. Public procurement is an important part of every modern economy. Therefore the enhancement of the whole system of public procurement ensures a rational usage of rate-payers' money. The customers have to follow the procedures of public procurement respecting the transparency principle, to reduce corruption in public procurement. The aim and object of this paper is to point out the transparency principle in the public procurement system and to get closer acquainted with the new Public Procurement Law that is active from 01.01.2017.
