Abstract	Kod loženja kotla na drvenu sječku te zagrijavanje vode u zagrijaču, preko dimnih plinova, izvršena je analiza uvjeta koji vladaju u zagrijaču vode. Kod industrijskih kotlova sa eksternim zagrijačem vode, zagrijač vode ima dvojaku ulogu. Zagrijač koristi „otpadnu toplinu“ iz kotla (dimni plin) kojeg mora ohladiti kako bi ispunio standardne ekološke uvjete za ispuh dimnih plinova. Isto tako zagrijava vodu koju šalje u bubanj te time povećava iskoristivost kotla. U ovom radu prikazan je postupak kontrolnog toplinskog i aerodinamičkog proračuna odabranog zagrijača vode (ECO 3) pod pretpostavkom da je poznata vrsta goriva i temperature dimnog plina i vode na ulazu u zagrijač vode te geometrija zagrijača vode.
Abstract (english)	When firing the boiler on a wood chipper and heating the water in the heater, through the flue gas, the conditions prevailing in the water heater were analyzed. For industrial boilers with an external water heater, the water heater plays a dual role. The heater uses "waste heat" from the boiler (flue gas) which it has to cool to meet the standard environmental conditions for flue gas exhaust. It also heats the water it sends to the drum, thus increasing the boiler's usability. This paper presents the process of control thermal and aerodynamic calculation of a selected water heater (ECO 3) assuming that the type of fuel and flue gas and water temperature at the inlet of the water heater and the geometry of the water heater are known.
