Abstract	Ovaj rad je zamišljen kao jedan vodič koji će uvesti čitatelja u ovo područje linearne algebre. U radu počinjemo od pojma matrice, a završavamo sa jednim složenim algoritmom za rješavanje sustava linearnih jednadžbi kao što je LU dekompozicija matrica. Kroz rad je objašnjeno što su matrice, koji su oblici matrica, što je determinanta matrice, što su i kako se rješavaju matrične jednadžbe. Zatim pojašnjavamo što su sustavi linearnih jednadžbi i kako ih zapisujemo u matrice. Na kraju ćemo pokazati tri načina za rješavanje matričnih linearnih sustava, a to su Gaussove eliminacije, LU dekompozicija i LU dekompozicija s pivotiranjem
