Abstract
In dieser Diplomarbeit wird die Problematik der Übersetzung von Emotionswörtern und der emotiven Sprache bearbeitet. Es wurde versucht, die Unterschiede in der Emotionsäußerung an Beispielen von deutschsprachigen Gedichten und ihren kroatischen Übersetzungen darzustellen. Das Korpus dafür waren die 13 Gedichte von Nelly Sachs und die Emotionswörter und die emotive Sprache, die darin belegt wurden, Die Emotionen, die sie darstellen, sind: Liebe, Sehnsucht, Leiden, Hoffnungslosigkeit, und Trauer. Es wurde nach der Analyse und nach dem Vergleich verschiedener Beispiele von Emotionsäußerungen in diesen Gedichten und ihren Übersetzungen geschlossen, dass es Tendenzen in der Übersetzung von Emotionen in der Dichtung gibt: Die Emotionswörter werden meistens mit der eigentlichen Übersetzung übertragen, und die emotiven Wörter mit Transpositionen, Sinnverwandtschaft und funktionalen Äquivalenten.
Abstract (croatian)
Ovaj diplomski rad obrađuje tematiku prevođenja emotivnih riječi i emotivnog jezika. Rad je pokušaj prikaza različitosti u izražavanju emocija u različitim jezicima, i to na primjeru pjesama na njemačkom jeziku i njihovih prijevoda na hrvatski jezik. Kao korpus je poslužilo 13 pjesama Nelly Sachs te emotivne riječi i emotivni jezik pronađeni u njima. Emocije koje su u njima izražene su: ljubav, čežnja, patnja, beznađe i tuga. Nakon analize i usporedbe različitih primjera izražavanja emocija u ovim pjesmama i njihovim prijevodima donesen je zaključak da postoje tendencije u prevođenju emocija u pjesništvu: riječi koje direktno izražavaju emocije se prevode doslovnim prijevodom, dok se riječi koje opisuju ili pobuđuju emocije prevode većinom transpozicijom, sinonimijom ili funkcionalnim ekvivalentom
Abstract (english)
This MA thesis deals with the subject of translating emotional words and emotional language. The thesis is an attempt to display the differences in the emotion expression in different languages on a sample consisting of German poems and their translations into Croatian. The body for the analysis comprised of 13 songs by Nelly Sachs, as well as the emotional words and emotional language found in them. The therein expressed emotions that are: love, longing, suffering, hopelessness and sadness. After the analysis and comparison of different instances of emotion expression in these songs and their translations, it was concluded that there are tendencies in translating emotions in poetry: words that express emotions directly are translated by means of literal translation, and the words that describe or evoke emotions mostly by transposition, synonymy or functional equivalent.
