Abstract	Ovaj rad analizira upravljanje i modeliranje poslovnih procesa, s naglaskom na njihovu važnost unutar poslovnih organizacija. Pruža usporedbu triju najzastupljenijih notacija - UML, EPC i BPMN - te ističe značaj modeliranja procesa na tri različite razine. Poseban fokus stavljen je na BPMN notaciju, koja je industrijski standard, uz detaljan pregled njenih glavnih elemenata: aktivnosti, događaja i skretnica. Također je objašnjen teorijski koncept "žetona" koji olakšava razumijevanje modela procesa. U radu je detaljno prikazan model procesa rješavanja korisničkog zahtjeva koristeći osnovne elemente BPMN notacije, te su provedene simulacije tog procesa za razdoblja od 30 i 365 dana.
Abstract (english)	This paper analyzes the management and modeling of business processes, with an emphasis on their importance within business organizations. It provides a comparison of the three most commonly used notations - UML, EPC, and BPMN - and highlights the significance of process modeling on three different levels. Special focus is placed on BPMN notation, which is the industry standard, with a detailed overview of its main elements: activities, events, and gateways. The theoretical token concept is also explained, which facilitates the understanding of process models. The paper presents a detailed model of the customer request resolution process using the core elements of BPMN notation, and simulations of the process were conducted for periods of 30 and 365 days.
