A prerequisite for sustainable development is balanced development, and the ability to predict growth and changes in the structure of production and consumption is acceptable in development, provided that it does not reduce the overall quality and availability of natural resources. The aim of this thesis is to determine the trends in the development of the automotive industry, the impact and contribution of the development of the electric car industry to the environment, and the principles and characteristics of achieving sustainability. The paper will investigate the influence of Rimac Automobili d.o.o. to sustainable development based on new production technologies. Today, environmental protection issues are increasingly incorporated into numerous business strategies, using technology that supports environmentally friendly approaches in order to meet the demands of various stakeholders. The general attitude towards the practice of environmental sustainability in Rimac shows that it is a company that stands for what is shown through its business activities. Since the company used opportunities in e-mobility, the company's focus is on environmental sustainability, and given that the automotive industry is a difficult business industry, due to a large number of environmental directives, Rimac adapted its business model to a more sustainable environment in order to maintain the company's image as environmentally friendly.
