Family resilience can be defined as a dynamic process of adapting to new conditions and developing positive outcomes despite exposure to risks. It is triggered by protective factors. It depends on the context in which the family is located and is not a constant, but a process of subjectable changes over time. It is precisely for these reasons that it is possible to strengthen it, in which experts from the education system also play an important role. This research aimed to determine the level of family resilience in families, that is, parents of preschool children. To write this thesis, research was conducted on a sample of n = 245 parents of children from kindergartens in the area of the city of Split and the municipality of Podstrana. The instruments used were used to examine the level of family resilience and the existence of a correlation between chronological age, gender, socioeconomic status, and the level of family resilience. The results showed that the respondents evaluate all dimensions of family resilience as very positive. They show a high level of family functionality and cohesion, with a well-developed ability to cope with adversity and a high level of family communication and understanding. High deviations in the answers were recorded in the area of "Family spirituality" and "Supportive neighbors". No statistically significant differences were found between the chronological age of the respondents, gender of the respondents, socioeconomic status, and level of assessment of family resilience.
