Nowadays there are various conservative treatment techniques that show great success. Also treatment can be performed with medication and surgical as the last option. The role of the midwife is extremely important from the beginning of the treatment of the patient when she provides the necessary help, counseling and education. In this way, midwifery facilitates the patient's problem and together they reach the main goal, which is to improve the quality of life with urinary incontinence and its complete healing. Urinary incontinence affects the psychophysical condition of the patient, and one of the main tasks of the midwife is to educate the patient about conservative treatment methods. These are the physical activity, nutrition, the use of aids, but also the advice of sexuality since most patients have a distorted picture of themselves and a lack of self-confidence. Midwife according to the health care process should evaluate the health of the patient, determine the need for care, and make a health care plan. One of the main thing is the active participation of the patient, so the task of the midwife is to establish a relationship of trust and mutual communication, to contribute together to the better and faster recovery of the patient.
