The quest for competitive advantage is the main goal of every business. In the contemporary world of the global economy, every company seeks to reach the market as much as possible, to gain profits and improve business results. Competitiveness can be achieved by investing, and as one of the possibilities for financing investments is co-financing through EU funds tenders. Through this graduate thesis there will be words about the possibilities of increasing the competitiveness of the company on the example of Kerschoffset d.o.o. The subject company has been successful for many years, but with a very small share in the market. As competition in the printing industry is increasingly bigger and more innovative every day, it is necessary to invest in business to increase competitiveness and efficiency. A survey was conducted on a deep interviews, which defined the prolematics in the current business, and it was found that there was a need to invest in the production process of Kerschoffset d.o.o. Improving production processes, developing new products and finding new markets should contribute to market competitiveness of Croatian products linked to networking production and knowledge, introducing new technologies and technological processes, modernizing existing technologies and technological processes, developing new products and products with higher added value and efficient use and application of knowledge in the industry. On the demanding domestic and international markets, only products and services based on knowledge can survive, with satisfactory prices, adequate quality and acceptable delivery deadlines. In response to these market demands, it is necessary to unite science and production in mastering and applying new production technologies and methodologies for rapid development and adoption of new products and services.
