This thesis is based on the system developed as part of the final thesis for bachelor degree. As part of the final paper, four concepts for the automatic assembly of a fire damper transmission mechanisam are offered. One that was chosen, was analyzed. This thesis offers a new solution for the arrangement of the assembly system. The work operations of assembling the mounting elements remained unchanged. The system elements are arranged relative to the conveyor belt, which is the main part of the system. For easy transportation of the mounting elements along the conveyor belt, the product carrier is constructed and adapted. The construction of the product carrier ensures the orientation and position of the mounting elements in the system during assembly. Particular attention was given to second workplace of the assembly system. All the elements used in the second workplace were created using 3D printing techonolgy and are validated in the laboratory setup. An unique turret gripper is designed to carry two tools – gripper for handling the rubber insert and magnets fot the mechanism cover and a transition plate. When designing an experimental validation system for a modeled assembly system, obstacles and imperfections occur in space constraints and in finance. Each of the defects needs to be adjusted in order for the system to be tested. This thesis explains the method of construction and the way of execution of each of the elements used in secondary workplace, the simulation of the designed system is made and the same system, with small modifications, is tested in the laboratory.
